If you have just started playing “The Outer World”, you might have already started completing different tasks to increase your XP. For players who don’t know, “Tasks” are optional quests in The Outer World that don’t relate to the original story. You can consider them as side missions that’ll help you earn more rewards in the game and boost the overall XP. Among all the tasks in the game, “Make Space Suits Won’t Travel” is the most popular. It’s a task where you are hired by Celeste Jolicoeur, Byzantium's premiere fashion icon, to create an ultimate dress; the perfect marriage of the chic and the shocking. You’ll have to try different dresses and models for her so that she can choose the best outfit. In this guide, we are going to give you a quick walkthrough of “Make Space Suits Won’t Travel”. This will help you complete the task and maximize the final reward as well. So, without any further ado, let’s get started.
Makes Space Suits Won’t Travel - The Objective
Like each task in the game, even Make Space Suits Won’t Travel has a few objectives that you’ll need to complete. Here we have listed each of these objectives so that you don’t miss out on anything important.
Model for Celeste
Celeste wants you to model for her with three different outfits, i.e., a Marauder set, a Spacer set, and an Iconoclast set. You’ll have to try both headwear and clothing to complete the outfit.
Collect 10 Primal Leather
Once you have modeled the dresses, the next step would be to collect 10 Primal Leathers. You’ll have to explore the Emerald Vale region to find the leather.
Collect Mantiqueen Chitin and 3 Raptidon Flank Hide
In addition to Primal Leather, Celeste also needs Mantiqueen Chitin and 3 Raptidon Flank Hide. You can explore Monarch to hunt both Mantiqueen Chitin and 3 Raptidon Flank Hide. In fact, the latter is native to Monarch.

Return to Celeste
After collecting everything, head back to Celeste to deliver all the items that she needs to build her prototype.
Collect Lapel From HPS
At this stage, you’ll have to visit HPS to collect the gold lapel that Celeste had ordered for her outfit. Once you’re at HPS, simply head to the Window and collect Celeste’s parcel.
Return To Celeste
Finally, come back to Celeste’s shop so that she can complete the prototype.
Make Space Suits Won’t Travel - Quick Walkthrough
The task will start with you modeling for Celeste. She’ll need you to try three different sets including Iconoclast Armor, Marauder Armor, and Spacer Armor along with their respective headwear. You’ll have to acquire these armors, but make sure to avoid items that are labeled as “Spacer’s Choice”. Once you have modeled for Celeste, she’ll ask you to gather three different items including Primal Leather, Mantiqueen Chitin, and 3 Raptidon Flank Hide. You can find Primal Leather in the Primal Nest of Emerald Vale or also buy it from Stefan Garcia. And, as we mentioned earlier, both Raptidon Flank Hide and Mantiqueen Chitin can be collected from Monarch. However, if you still need more, you can also visit Sebastian Adams to buy them.
After collecting all the required items, the next step in the “Make Space Suits Won’t Travel” quest will be to return to Celeste and give her everything. She’ll start working on the prototype and you’ll be asked to collect her parcel from HPS that contains Lapel. Before leaving for HPS, you’ll be rewarded with 2,312 XP for successfully collecting the previous three items. Now, to get the parcel, you’ll first need to go to HPS and visit Window B where you’ll find Wanda Chen. She’ll inform you that Celeste’s parcel is already out for delivery. At this stage, you’ll have to go to the nav marker in the Estates District. However, as soon as you’ll reach there, you’ll come to know that the parcel has already been retired to HPS again. Again, go back to HPS, but this time directly visit Window A. Here, you’ll have to show the Writ of Consent that Celeste gave you earlier. This will prove that you are authorized to collect the package. In case you don’t want to go through all this hassle, you can also steal the parcel by breaking it into the locker of HPS. As soon as you get the parcel, go back to Celeste’s shop. When you’ll reach there, you’ll notice that she had been murdered by a City Guard for illegal designing of clothes. At this point, you have two options, i.e., either fight and kill the Guard Command or simply leave the shop quietly. Keep in mind that if you kill those guards, you’ll be given a negative reputation that might even affect your XP. We recommend leaving the premises as this will add another 2,312 XP to your account. You can later come back to the shop and loot Celeste’s corpse to acquire her key. You’ll find a unique armor in her office. This will finally end the quest and you’ll be rewarded the final 10,300 XP points.
Conclusion
Make Space Suits Won’t Travel is one of the easiest and most rewarding tasks in “The Outer World”. If you are getting bored by the regular story and want to improve your XP, you can complete this quest and it’ll reward you with extensive XP.
